These vigorous young Anthuriums are selfed seedlings from my own Pink Lemonade × Black Widow Michelle mother plant, originally acquired from Tezula/SKG and maintained in the MonsteraEtc collection.

The seeds were harvested March 31, 2026, and these seedlings have already reached four or more leaves, showing excellent vigor for their age. Even at this juvenile stage, they are beginning to display remarkably dark foliage—an especially promising early characteristic from this velvet Anthurium lineage.

The mother plant is a large, striking specimen with broad, dark velvet foliage and dramatic contrasting venation. Because these seedlings were produced by self-pollination, they carry genetics from that single parent but are not clones. Each seedling represents a new genetic recombination and may develop its own mature leaf shape, darkness, venation, texture and emergent coloration.

These are an excellent opportunity to grow out young seedlings from a known, established mother plant and watch their individual phenotypes develop from an early stage.
