1. Light: It prefers bright, indirect light but can tolerate lower light levels. Avoid more than 1-2 hours of direct sunlight, as it can scorch the leaves.

2. Watering: With thick leaves that retain water, Monstera Peru needs less frequent watering than other Monstera species. Water when the top 2-3 inches of soil feel dry. Be cautious of overwatering to prevent root rot.

3. Soil: Use a well-draining mix such as a blend of orchid bark, perlite, and sphagnum moss. This helps retain moisture while avoiding waterlogging.

4. Temperature and Humidity: Ideal temperatures range between 65-80°F (18-27°C). It thrives in 50-80% humidity but can adapt to standard indoor conditions. Consider misting, using a humidifier, or placing it on a pebble tray during dry months.

5. Fertilizer: Apply a balanced fertilizer every 3-4 weeks during the growing season (spring and summer). Reduce feeding in winter when growth slows.

6. Propagation: Monstera Peru can be propagated through stem cuttings, which can root in either water or soil. It is best to propagate during the growing season for faster results.

This plant enjoys climbing and benefits from vertical support, such as a moss pole or totem. While it can also trail, supporting its natural climbing tendency will enhance its growth and display.
